Hope Clinical Trials Facility Opening

Welcome to the Hope Clinical Trials Facility. Our mission is to deliver excellence in cancer research.

Clinical trials offer hope for many people and an opportunity to help researchers find better treatments for others in the future.

The Hope Clinical Trials Facility is a dedicated area for patients participating in clinical research studies, particularly those at the early stages of development.

Opened by Martin Johnson in May 2012, the Facility has been funded by the local Leicestershire and Rutland cancer charity Hope Against Cancer, the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and the National Institute for Health Research.

What our patients say:

“Amazing cutting edge care from talented people. Care the NHS should be proud of - all the staff are first class, I can’t praise them enough”

What our doctors say:

“As an option of treatment it is important to be able to offer patients the opportunity to participate in a clinical trial. Having a dedicated Facility has significantly improved the experience of patients taking part in clinical trials.”
