Together with Teenage Cancer Trust and with support from the Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust, we need to raise at least £1.4 million to transform our children and young people's cancer unit on ward 27 at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
Leicester Hospitals Charity will be generating the much needed funds for the children's element of this project and Teenage Cancer Trust will be using their expertise to raise the funds needed for the new facilities for 13 - 24 year olds. If the money can be raised in time, work on the new unit will start in summer 2012.
