Debbie Adlerstein, Head of Development for Leicester’s Hospitals Charity said “we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of local people.  We did not even put a call out for donations but eggs, arts and crafts, books and many other items have been delivered over the last few days.“

“Originally we thought we would just make sure that every child staying in over the Easter period would receive an egg but we have now received so many every inpatient where appropriate will receive an Easter egg – that’s over 1000 people.”

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated."

These include: Tesco Express Stores in Leicester, Blue Arrow, Walkers Snack Foods and SRDC, Ginns & Gutteridge, Brenntag UK & Ireland, Staff at Child Maintenance  Government Dept, DWP, Leics & Rutland blood bikes, M M Teleperformance Limited, Miss Leicester International, Tesco Beaumont Leys, Tesco Express Stores (Leicester), The Fox Inn, Virgin Money, Wilson Browne and Blue Arrow plus many school and individual donations.
