Bereavement Support Group (Birstall)

Support group led by trained bereavement volunteers from LOROS.

The group meets every other Wednesday, 1pm – 3pm at Birstall Methodist Church. Call 0116 231 8410 to book.

Macmillan Cancer Support - coping with bereavement

Macmillan Cancer Support aims to improve the lives of people affected by cancer by providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support. Also produces booklets on different types of cancer and on aspects of living with cancer.

The aim of this organisation is to reduce the amount of direct mail sent to those who have died.

Cruse Bereavement Care

This organisation exists to promote the well-being of bereaved people and to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss. Services are free to bereaved people. The charity provides support and offers information, advice, education and training services.  The following leaflet is produced by Cruse.
