Transition from paediatric to adult services

Once your child turns 15 years old they will start to be prepared to transition from the paediatric hearing aid team to the adult services. This does not officially take place until they are 19yrs old and you will receive all necessary information and support before this.

The aim of this transition period is to ensure your child understands their hearing loss and can manage their hearing aids independently.
