About Me:

Mr Boyd is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon working in Orthopaedics and Sport and Exercise Medicine Department in Leicester.  He trained in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Nottingham and Brisbane, Australia.  He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine of the United Kingdom. 

He specialises in elective orthopaedics and sports injuries of the knee, shoulder and foot and ankle including overuse syndromes.  He has active roles in research, teaching and examining.  He is a former Olympian and a member of FINA’s Sports Medicine committee.
