About Me:
Mr Godsiff qualified from Kings College Hospital Medical School, London, in 1984 and trained in orthopaedic surgery between 1989 and 1996 in Essex, Norwich, St Bartholomews London and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London. He studied knee surgery in Australia and the United States, and have made this his major interest since he was appointed consultant in Leicester in 1996.
His current practice embraces all aspects of conventional and minimally invasive/arthroscopic knee surgery. He has also tutored in arthroscopic knee surgery on courses held at the Royal College of Surgeons in London.
He is particularly interested in sporting knee ligament injuries and regularly see both amateur and professional sportsmen with knee problems. His recent research has included work on meniscus repair, posterior cruciate ligament injury and reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament.
Surgery for arthritis is a large segment of his work and he performs conventional total knee replacements, plus unicompartment knee replacement using a minimally invasive technique.
