Our dedicated rheumatology service provides all aspects of rheumatological care for patients from assessment to treatment. Our staff diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the joints, muscles, bones and tendons such as arthritis and degenerative joint disease
In-patient care is based at Leicester Royal Infirmary. We have out-patient services at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester General Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary and go out to various community hospitals in Leicestershire and Rutland.
We work in close liaison with orthopaedics and the radiology department. We have access to the MRI, CT, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, DXA scan and radioisotope scans to aid diagnosis and treatment.
