Medical and Clinical Education

The department was established in December 2002 to work in close partnership with key stakeholders, including higher educational institutions, the Workforce Development Confederation (WDC), Health Education England working across the East Midlands (HEEM) Local and Education Training Board (LETB) (formerly known as the East Midlands Healthcare Workforce Deanery) and standard setting and professional colleagues and other bodies. We provide a central point within the Trust responsible for coordinating all clinical education and training activities and deciding on strategic direction.
