The Clinical Skills Unit (CSU) offers training across the University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) which include the Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and the Glenfield Hospital and training at external venues when requested
The unit provides clinical and procedural skills teaching for University of Leicester (UoL) medical students, junior doctors in training and UHL Staff, as well as a number of national courses. The team on CSU also assists the Resuscitation service to provide all UHL's resuscitation training.
It is our aim to provide the highest quality research based training for all clinical staff and to meet the needs of a dynamic and changing healthcare service.

The Clinical Skills Unit offers a wide range of clinical skill training. Skills can be delivered individually or as a package, tailor-made to meet your training needs and either delivered in-house. Below is an example of the training we provide and can be booked through eUHL. The team can also tailor specific training to meet the learning needs of the individual staff or staff groups.
