COVID-19: A notice for patients, volunteers and carers

We have taken the difficult decision to temporarily postpone some clinical trials where it is safe to do so. We have done this to keep you safe, and to prioritise our clinical research resources to find treatments for COVID-19.

Your clinical trial may continue if:

• Follow-up appointments can be carried out remotely, via video or phone call
• You are receiving an essential medicine or care package as part of the research

If you are on a clinical trial, your research team will be in touch to explain how COVID-19 will affect the trial in which you are taking part. Should you have any questions, please contact your study team directly. Their details can be found on your patient information leaflet.
