Who is it for? Children and young people with peanut allergy (age 6-23 years) or with cow’s milk allergy (age 3-23 years).

Why? The purpose of this study is to test whether Oral Immuno Therapy (OIT) using commonly available foods can be used safely to treat young people with peanut or cow’s milk allergy, and also to show this can be cost-effective in the NHS.

BAT-IMPACT

Who is it for? The study focuses on children and young people with suspected allergy to peanut, egg, cow’s milk, sesame and cashew nuts aged 6 months -15 years.

Why? In this study, we want to determine if using blood special blood tests called BAT and MAT impacts the use of oral food challenges in the diagnosis of allergy.
