Children's Asthma studies

HORIZON

Who is it for? Children (aged 5 < 12 years) who have severe uncontrolled asthma.

Why? To help find another effective therapy option for children with severe uncontrolled asthma. We want to explore the safety and efficacy of tezepelumab in this age group. It is a biologic therapy known to be effective and safe for use in adults and adolescents with severe asthma.

Participants in the study will be randomized to receive study drug or placebo for 12 months and may then receive study drug for an additional 6 months in an open-label extension period, if they quality.

Who is it for? Children (2 to <6 years) with uncontrolled asthma and/or recurrent severe asthmatic wheeze.

Why? To help find another effective therapy option for young people with uncontrolled asthma and/or recurrent severe asthmatic wheeze. We want to explore the safety and efficacy of dupilumab in this age group. It is a biologic therapy known to be effective and safe for use in adults with this condition.

Participants in the study will be randomized to receive study drug or placebo for 12 months and may then choose to proceed to receive study drug in the open-label extension period
