Patient Population: 

Type 1: over 300 patients aged 0 to 16 years

Type 2: 19 patients aged up to 19 years

Research interests and experience:

Phase 2/3 commercial and non-commercial research experience as CI and PI.

Highest recruiting centre for a national Type 1 Diabetes study since January 2015.

Award winner Health Foundation Grant for Innovation 2017: Development of a structured education program for type 1 diabetes via APP based training and flipped learning.

In-house studies into diabetes and exercise; psychological outcome of diabetes.
