Communications team

The Communications Team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust provides support to colleagues, the public and the media to better understand what is going on across our Trust. The team share feedback on how we can do better and how we are doing better through ground-breaking developments in medicine and practice. We aim to respond positively, openly and promptly to all reasonable requests, but during periods of operational pressure this can take longer.

Information for media

We endeavour to meet media requests and inquiries as best we can. You can use the links below to find out more about what is going on across our hospitals and the contact details to get in touch with our team are above. 

Please note, that interviews, filming or photography on site will require permission from the communications team. As a working hospital, we are limited in our ability to meet short-notice requests.

If you have an urgent media enquiry out of hours office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm), please call the hospital switchboard on 0300 303 1573 and ask to speak to 'Communications On Call'.
