About Us
The Communications Team are here to help the media access information and ask questions about Leicester’s Hospitals. We also deal with requests for interviews, filming and photography of our staff and our sites. We aim to respond positively, openly and promptly to all reasonable media requests.
We can assist with requests about the condition of patients being treated at our hospitals (known as ‘condition checks’), however, certain rules and guidelines apply.
We are also keen to promote the work of Leicester’s Hospitals, and actively promote exciting and ground-breaking developments made by our staff, including world and UK firsts.

If you have an urgent media enquiry out of hours office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm), please call the hospital switchboard on 0300 303 1573 and ask to speak to 'Communications On Call'.
