We have had to make some changes to the way we do Christmas this year to keep both patients, their families and our staff safe. This has impacted our ability to accept gifts directly for both adult and child patients. Instead, we are encouraging everyone who wishes to support us this Christmas to consider supporting our 'Do Them Proud' campaign, to realise the first single site Children's Hospital in the East Midlands, so that we can best serve the children who need our help in the years to come.

We need to raise a significant amount of money to make the hospital a reality, and so the more support we can drive from people like you and the community that you connect with, the greater likelihood there is of making the dream for our children a reality.

Our gift tag

Whilst we can’t accept gifts from the public this Christmas, Leicester Hospitals charity and volunteers from Leicester’s hospitals plus Santa are making sure everyone in hospital on Christmas Day receives a present.

We invited Children from across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to create a design for our gift tags going on to the presents.

We had 19 entries all of which were spectacular. Thank you to those who took part.

A huge congratulations to the children who designs were picked to feature on the final gift tags: Alyssa (aged 8), Sean (aged 6) and Oz (aged 6).
