Nursing interviews in India

Specialist medicine sister Laura Walker and matron Glynis Dublin are in Kerala, India to interview nurses!

Keep up to date with their trip via the blog below:

Our final day of interviews in Mumbai:

Laura writes:

We’ve been blown away by the candidates again! Their compassion, knowledge and their desire to care, has been obvious in their interviews.

We’ve interviewed over 70 candidates over 3 days of interviews between Kerala and Mumbai!

We’ve seen a true understanding of our values as well as each candidate introducing themselves with “Hello, my name is...”

The recruitment team have been excellent throughout and have made the interviews seamless.

We look forward to working with the successful candidates in Leicester!

Laura writes:

We have interviewed a further 29 qualified nurses. Yet again, they have all been enthusiastic about joining Leicester’s Hospitals and have been a pleasure to interview.

Each morning, before the interviews, the nurses are given a presentation on working in the NHS, and working in Leicester's Hospitals!

This morning, we talked about Leicester's Hospitals and our values. Then, they sit an exam to assess their knowledge base.

Laura writes:

Today has been a successful first day of interviews here in Kerala, India. We have interviewed over twenty candidates who are all VERY excited of the prospects of joining UHL!

As an added bonus, each candidate has introduced themselves saying, “Hello my name is...” which was wonderful for myself and Glynis to hear!

Wonderful team work with the KCR Recruitment team girls too (Heather and Sinead)!

Roll on the next few days!
