Annual Public Meeting – 14 September 2023

We will be holding our first Annual Public Meeting since 2019 on Thursday 14 September 2023. This year’s meeting will take place in the Peepul Centre, Orchardson Avenue, Leicester LE4 6DP

From 2.30pm-5pm, we will be running a health fair, where you will be able to speak to colleagues and hear more about our plans for the future of your hospitals. The health fair this year will focus on four key areas:

• University Hospitals as a place to work and volunteer
• How we are driving high quality care for patients
• How we are working in partnership
• Our plans for research and education

During the health fair, local charity Heartwize, will also be providing basic life support training for anyone that wishes to take part. Why not come along and learn some essential lifesaving skills.

Refreshments will be available during the health fair, with a light buffet served at 4.30pm

Our evening meeting will start at 5.30pm, where our Chief Executive, Richard Mitchell, and Board of Directors will be sharing their vision for the future of Leicester’s Hospitals. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask any questions you have during the evening.
