Consultants’ industrial action, 24 August (7am) - 26 August (7am)

Disruption is likely to be caused by forthcoming industrial action across the NHS from 24 and 25 August and into the bank holiday weekend. We are wholly focused on minimising disruption and providing safe care to all who need it.

The public can help by calling 999 in a life-threatening emergency or 111 for non-life threatening care. GPs will remain open and local pharmacists can help with minor ailments.

Anyone with a hospital appointment should continue to attend as planned unless they have been contacted to rearrange. We apologise to anyone whose care has been disrupted during this period.
