From 13-16 March, industrial action will mean NHS services will be busier than normal but you can still continue to access our services when you need them.

If you have a medical appointment scheduled in our hospital please attend as normal. We will contact you if your appointment needs to be rescheduled due to strike action.

You can use 111 online as the first port of call for urgent health needs. Please only use 999 if it is a life-threatening emergency (when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk). Ambulances may only able to respond where there is an immediate risk to life.

For more information on when to call 999 and when to go to A&E, you can visit the NHS UK website
