Better Care Together (BCT) is a health and care partnership for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR).

In the 70th year of the NHS the partnership has recently published ‘Next steps to better care in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland’, a document describing the progress of partners from health and local authorities to improve the health and wellbeing of local people.

The document also outlines the work that is happening to keep more people well and out of hospital by improving their access to GPs, practice and community teams and caring for them closer to where they live.  It also explains the work that partners are doing to extend services for patients who have an urgent need due to a crisis.
