Hazel Busby-Earle, Clinical Director Musculoskeletal and Specialist Surgery

Hazel is the Clinical Director for Musculoskeletal and Specialist Services and the education lead and trauma lead for the Maxillofacial department. She works as a consultant in oral and maxillofacial surgery at UHL, treating both adults and children.   

Hazel has particular interest in facial trauma, using state-of-the-art 3D surgical planning, and salivary gland disease, including the management of parotid, submandibular and minor salivary gland diseases.  

Outside of her NHS practice, Hazel is also a tribunal member for the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, which helps to protect patients by making independent decisions about a doctor’s fitness to practice, measured against professional standards set by the General Medical Council.
