We work to improve patient care through our research programmes, and we are at the forefront of many clinical trials and new surgical procedures.

We are committed to education, research and innovation to improve patient care. At any one time there are around 1,000 research projects active in the Trust, ranging from small local projects to international programmes involving different hospitals and research centres throughout the world.
