If you are planning to conduct research in Leicester’s Hospitals, the Research Support Service helps researchers plan, set up and deliver high quality research to time and target in the NHS in England.

The UHL Research and Innovation (R&I) office provides a research support service in collaboration with the Research Delivery Network, East Midlands.

We provide this service for all studies eligible for our support, regardless of study type, study size, therapy or research area. Whether your study is medical, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or bio-technological, we can help.

It doesn’t even matter if your research is portfolio or non-portfolio – this service is available to all.

Engage with us from the outset to access our full range of free support, and allow us to create a bespoke service that meets your needs throughout the full lifecycle of your study.

This support can involve:

• Advice on eligibility for support.
• Regulatory submissions.
• Attribution of costs.
• Completion of costing templates.
• Exploration of recruitment pathways.
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.
• Local intelligence to optimise delivery of your study.
