The ‘Caring at its Best Awards’, are our awards which reward our inspirational staff, those that live our values and deserve recognition for their amazing success and commitment to providing ‘Caring at its Best’.
Award winners will be those staff members who demonstrate that they go the extra mile for colleagues and patients. They will be working examples of our values in action and role models of professionalism and courtesy, caring and compassion.

Well-being at Work
Well-being at Work offers discounted and free activities and therapies to all staff employed by Leicester Hospitals to help them achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Activities include exercise classes, badminton, 5-aside football, cricket, quiz nights, beauty therapists and lots more.
Pay and conditions
We offer a generous annual leave entitlement for all staff who join us of 27 days for a full year. This increases to 29 days after five years' service and 33 days after 10 years.
Access to Occupational Health services
The Trust provides a comprehensive Occupational Health service to all staff. A full range of services can be accessed including pre-employment health assessments, immunisation programmes, health and safety advice, health surveillance and infection control.
