Jo And Molly

Jo Dolan and Molly

Jo Dolan and Molly one of our lovely PAT Dogs who retired yesterday after 7 Years of volunteering in UHL.  Molly has made a big difference to so many patients and their families during her time with us with her calm gentle ways. She has also been very popular with staff especially during Covid when she spent time in the ED staff room giving staff a much needed break from their busy shifts. We will all miss Molly with her wagging tail and her love of eating banana skins!

Jo is remaining with us as a volunteer continuing to visit patients whilst Molly has a much deserved rest at home.

Thank you Molly

TLC from a volunteer to a patient

A touch of TLC for patients

Time for a treat has returned, with a team of new volunteers providing pampering sessions to patients. Trained in hand massage, these volunteers offer patients a touch of relaxation and a listening ear.
