Kindness campaign

Kindness campaign headshots of colleagues

Our colleagues are proud to care for you. We are compassionate and inclusive, which means we treat all patients and visitors with respect and kindness and expect to receive this in return.

Everyone has the right to feel safe, secure, and supported at work.

While most of our patients and visitors show respect and gratitude, the unacceptable actions of a small minority can be devastating to the health and wellbeing of our teams and can have a negative impact on the care we are able to deliver.

Our Kindness campaign features members of our team speaking out and sharing their stories. They celebrate the diversity of our workforce and encourage us all to act with kindness and respect. The stories capture the essence of our colleagues – dedicated professionals working in different parts of our hospitals who are proud to care for and protect you.

The Kindness campaign posters, lift wraps and digital screens can be seen across our acute hospital sites. You can also read about the experiences of our staff on our social media channels.

We would like to say a very big thank you to all involved in this project, especially those willing to share their lived experiences. You can read their stories on our website.

The Kindness campaign originated at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and we have joined the campaign with our colleagues sharing their powerful stories.
