H​uma​n factors ​examines the relationship between human beings and the systems with which they inte​ract by focusing on improving efficiency, creativity, produ​ctivity​, an​d job​ ​satisfaction, with the goal of minimizing errors. Human factors  ca​n show​ us how to make sure that we use safe prescribing practices, communicate well in teams, and hand over information to other health-care profession​als. Human factors can make it easier for health-care providers to care for patients. 

If you are interested in Human Factors, as well as Ergonomics, and would like to know mor​​e about the topic, then you can use the links below to access a newly developed e-learning module which explores these topics in more detail. We have developed a short survey to investigate your current knowledge of Human Factors, please complete this before you access the e-learning for the first time. A follow up survey will be emailed to you at a later date to see how effective the module is so that we can continually improve it.
