Alcohol awareness

From 18 until 24 November, it is Alcohol Awareness Week 2013. 

Leicester’s Hospitals is working with public and voluntary services from across Leicestershire to help the public find out more about alcohol. Details of all the activities can be found at the bottom of the page. We are focussing on alcohol consumption and its health effects.

Alcohol Units for men and women

… how much is too much?

The safe limit for women is:
2-3 units a day or approximately 21 units a week.
