Outpatients

As an outpatient, you have been asked to visit the hospital or a clinic for treatment. In this section of the site, you can find information about how to prepare for your hospital visit.

Please report to the clinic indicated on your appointment letter. Check your appointment letter carefully to make sure you attend the right clinic at the right hospital.

To ensure our patients have a comfortable and convenient experience, we want to remind you of a few options available to you:

Bring Someone with You: You are welcome to bring a family member, friend, or caregiver to your appointment for support.

Alternative Consultation Options: If you prefer, you can request a telephone or video consultation (if possible for your case) instead of a face-to-face appointment; or we could try and reschedule your appointment to a time that suits you better. Please let us know in advance if this is your choice.

Travel Support: You may be eligible for support if you need assistance with travel or travel expenses. Contact us for more information on how we can help, or call 0345 241 3012 to book transport.
